98. SPADE RAISES OR LOWERS UNEVENLY.

Check for damaged or faulty pressure reducer or hull hydraulic relief valve.

Step 1.

Replace pressure reducer or hull hydraulic relief valve. Refer to

Step 2.

Check hydraulic cylinder assembly for leaks.

If leaks exist, replace hydraulic cylinder assembly. Refer to page 2-967.

If problem still exists, notify direct support maintenance.

99. FUEL FILTER HEATERS DO NOT HEAT.

Check fuel filter heater ground leads for bad connection.

Step 1.

Clean ground connections with crocus cloth (item 10, appx C). Tighten

ground connections.

Troubleshoot fuel filter heater circuit. Refer to Electrical Circuit Symptom

Step 2.

100. AIR INTAKE FAN AND SOLENOID DO NOT OPERATE.

Check ground leads on fan and solenoid for bad connections.

Step 1.

Clean ground connections with crocus cloth (item 10, appx C). Tighten

ground connections.

Troubleshoot air intake fan and solenoid circuit. Refer to Electrical Circuit

101. COOLANT HEATER CONTROL BOX LIGHT DOES NOT OPERATE WHEN PRESS-

Check coolant heater ground lead for bad connection.
