Engine shut off (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 54, Appendix F)
Parking brake on (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Wheels chocked.
Materials/Parts
Adhesive-Sealant, Silicone (Item 3, Appendix C)
Ties, Cable, Plastic (Item 34, Appendix C)
a. Removal
NOTE
Location of plastic cable ties should
be marked before removal.
(1) Remove plastic cable ties (1) securing
speedometer cable (2) as required.
(2) Turn cap (3) counterclockwise and
remove speedometer cable (2) from
speedometer adapter (4).
(3) Turn nut (5) counterclockwise and remove
speedometer adapter (3) from CTI signal
generator (6).
(4) Remove gasket (7) from CTI signal
generator (6). Discard gasket.
