Lockwashers (2) (Item 112, Appendix G)
Tools and Special Tools
Tool Kit, Electrical Repair (Item 53, Appendix F)
Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 54, Appendix F)
a. Removal
(1) Remove four screws (1), screws (2), and
cover plate (3) from top of doghouse (4)
and control lever assembly (5).
(2) Pull control lever assembly (5) down into
doghouse (4).
(3) Disconnect 6-pin plug (6) from electrical
receptacle (7).
(4) Remove two nuts (8), lockwashers (9),
screws (10), bracket (11), and plate (12)
from
shift
plate
(13).
Discard
(5) Loosen jamnut (14) on shift cable (15).
(6) Remove control lever assembly (5) from
shift cable (15).
