NOTE
Check position of all valves, springs, plugs and other parts before installation. Install all spring adjusting
rings (15, 16, 17, 18, and 19) in positions they held before disassembly. If necessary to achieve original
positions, use valve body adjusting ring tool. Other- wise, transmission will not operate properly. All
valves, when dry, should move freely in their bores. Refer to illustration on following page for valve bore
positions. Control valve body (2) is shown flat side down.
