Alcohol
Place in position.
20. Firewall (1)
evaporator (2)
With help from assistant, screw on
Two screws (3),
21. Alcohol evaporator
and tighten using 7/16-inch wrench,
washers (4), new
(2) to firewall (1)
socket, extension, and handle.
Iockwashers (5),
and nuts (6)
Lube end lightly with soap and push in
Alcohol line (8)
22. Adapter (7)
until seated.
Screw onto adapter (7) and tighten using
Nut (9)
23. Alcohol line (8)
one 9/16-inch wrench to hold adapter and
to adapter (7)
other 9/16-inch wrench to tighten nut.
Screw on and tighten.
Cap (10)

evaporator (2)
NOTE
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
1. Fill alcohol evaporator (TM 9-2320-270-10).
2. Install right hood side panel and close right side of hood (TM 9-2320-270- 10).
