12 capscrews (5),
a. Using 3/4-inch box wrench, 3/4-inch
washers (6), lock-
socket, and handle with 1/2-inch drive,
support brackets
washers (7), and
unscrew and take off.

b. Get rid of Iockwashers (7).
With help from assistants, take off.

Remove (page 4-993 and 4-999).

Using 9/16-inch box wrench, 9/16-inch
Two capscrews (1 1),
Front battery box

Iockwashers (12),
socket, and handle with 1/2-inch drive,
bracket (2) to front
and nuts (13)
fender brace (10)
unscrew and take out.
b.
Get rid of Iockwashers (12).
Three capscrews
a.
With help from assistant, and using
Front battery box
5.
15/16-inch box wrench, 15/16-inch -
(14), six washers
bracket (2) to
(16), and three
socket, and handle with 1/2-inch
frame (15)
drive, unscrew and take out.
self-locking
nuts (17)
b. Get rid of nuts (17).
Front battery box
Take off.
