Using gear and bearing puller, pull off.

Using scribe, matchmark both
cases

Using 3/4-inch socket, ratchet handle
with 1/2-inch drive, and 3/4-inch
open-end wrench, unscrew and take
out.

Take off.

Take off.

Get rid of washer (7).

Using 7/16-inch socket

handle with 1/2-inch drive, unscrew
and take out.

NOTE
Do not separate ring gear from flanged case unless the gear or case is damaged and must be replaced.
Do not use chisel to cut off rivet heads.

Twelve rivets (15)
a.
Using pencil grinder, grind off each
head.
b.
Using ball-peen hammer and 3/8-inch
blunt-point drive-pin punch, drive
out rivets.
c.
Get rid of.
