Two cotter pins (10) a.
Using angle-nose slip-joint
pliers,
straighten pins and pull out.

Get rid of.

Take out two locks (9).

Two bearing
Four screws (12)

Using scribe, matchmark one
cap (11)
caps (11)
and carrier leg.
b.
Using 13116-inch socket and ratchet
handle with 3/4-inch drive, unscrew
and take out.
9.
Differential
Two bearing caps
a.
Take off.
carrier (4)
(11) and four b.
Tag dowels.

Two bearing
Using pry bar, unscrew and take out.

a.
Attach hoist with lifting cables.
assembly (15)

Using hoist, lift assembly (15) out of
carrier (4) and place on bench.
Tilt assembly to allow ring gear
to clear radial bearing.
c.
Take off lifting device.
