Adapter lube
Two screws (8) and

Screw in until snug, using 3116-inch
valve tube (7)
two washers (9)
socket-head screw key.
b.
Tighten to 9-11 ft-lb (12-15 N m) of
torque using 3/16-inc h socket-head
screw socket and torque wrench with
1/2-inch drive.

Transmission
Modulator
Put in position.
housing (1)
retainer (10)

Screw (11)
Screw in, and tighten using 1/2-inch socket
and ratchet handle with 3/8-inch drive.
21.
New vent
Using ball-peen hammer, tap in.

22.
New packing (13)
a.
Put sealing compound on rim of pack-
ing (13).
b.
With lip facing into bore, and using
ball-peen hammer, tap in.
c.
Lubricant inner bore with oil solubl e grease.
