Before taking out retainer pins, using machinist's scribe, note and mark the slot in the adjusting ring in which the pins
are seated. The adjusting rings are spring loaded, so they must be held in while retaining pin is removed.

Retainer pin (2)
a. Press on ring (3).

b. Using long round-nose pliers, take
out.

Adjuster ring (3),
Using magnetic retrieving tool, take out.

(5), 2-3 modulator

a. Press on, and hold ring (9).
b. Using long round-nose pliers, take
out.
