WARNING
Solvent burns easily. Solvent fumes can explode. Do not smoke or allow open flame nearby when
using solvent. Failure to observe these precautions could cause serious injury or death.
CAUTION
Do not use hard or sharp tools, emery cloth or crocus cloth, grinding compound, or abrasives of
any kind when cleaning injector parts. Machined surfaces are damaged easily.

Clean in drycleaning solvent.
b.
Wipe dry with clean, dry rags.

Valve (1)
Using mutton tallow, remove carbon.

Nozzle (2)
a.
Using special chamber scraper, clean
pressure chamber (3).
b.
Using special seat scraper, clean valve
seat (4).
c.
Using 0.017-inch (0.42-mm) needle
and pin vise, clean spray hole (5).
d.
Using 0.015-inch (0.37-mm) needle
and pin vise, clean spray hole (6).
e.
Using polishing stick, polish valve
seat (4).
