Screw on, and tighten using 1 1/8-inch
open-end wrench.
INSTALLATION

Pump (5)

Place in position.
b.
Lay machinist's rule across oil
pan rails.
c.
Using another machinist's rule,
measure distance from bottom of first
rule to top of screen, on both sides.
Pump float assembly (1) must be
parallel and 6 112 inches
(165.1 mm) above oil pan rails.
d.
Take off rule.
42. Pump (5)
Two new lockwashers
Screw in, and tighten using 9/16-inch
(6) and screws (7)
open-end wrench.
43. Cylinder block (4)
Bracket (8)
Put in position.
