Put in place.

Screw in, and tighten using 9/16-inch
(3) three new lock-
socket and ratchet handle with 1/2-
washers (4) and
inch drive.

Two new lockwashers
Screw in until snug.

Nine screws (8),
Using 9/16-inch socket and torque wrench
(9), (10), (11),
with 1/2-inch drive, tighten to 25 - 35
and (7)
ft-lb (34 - 47 N m) of torque.
27.
New oil seal (12)
a.
Lubricate cover (1) bore with clean
engine oil.
b.
Using front cover oil seal installer
and plastic-face hammer, drive on.
The seal is seated when Inner
shoulder on tool contacts the
machined surface on cover.
