Valve (2)
a.
Position head (1) in vertical position.
b.
Make sure valve (2) is clean.
c.
Apply clean engine oil to stem and face.
d.
Put into seat to which it was checked.

Valve rotator cup
Put in place.
assembly (3), new
spring and damper
assembly (4), valve
spring cup (5), and
new valve stem
seal (6)
11.
Two valve spring
Using valve spring compressor, compress
retainers (7)
assembly (4) and put in.

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE: Install cylinder head (page 2-102).
