WARNING
Solvent burns easily. Solvent fumes can explode. Do not smoke or allow open flame nearby when using
solvent. Failure to observe these precautions could cause serious injury or death.
Be sure to wear safety goggles or lenses when using compressed air. Compressed air air and particles
moved by compressed air can cause damage to your eyes.

Clean in drycleaning solvent.

Using compressed air, blow dry.

Using wire brush, clean carbon
from
top.

Using ring groove cleaner, clean
carbon from second and third ring
grooves.
c.
Using heavy cord soaked in drycleaning
solvent, clean carbon from top groove.

Replace parts that are not within specified limits, or which are defective and cannot be repaired.

overheating, visible cracks, and damaged
ring grooves.
