6. STANDARD WIRING HARNESS WORKING IMPROPERLY - CONTINUED
Step 4.
Test harness (1) for wires shorted to ground.
a.
With assistant, connect ohmmeter to vehicle ground.
b.
Connect ohmmeter to wire #52 at bulkhead connector (2), note
meter reading, and disconnect from wire. If meter reads more
than zero ohms, wire is shorted to ground.
c.
Repeat for remaining wires at bulkhead connector (2), and dis-
connect ohmmeter from vehicle ground.
