(b) With all three multimeters, connect the red probe to the positive (+) side of the circuit and the black
probe to the negative (-) side. The example (fig. 4-8) show 24 volts dc being measured across the batteries.
(c) Read the Meter. (The examples (figs. 4-9, 4-10 and 4-11) show how to read all three multimeters.)
If the needle tries to move off scale to the left, reverse the probes on the circuit.
