Section II. TROUBLESHOOTING

3-3. GENERAL.

a. This section contains troubleshooting information for locating and correcting most of the operating trouble which

may develop in the Petroleum Base Laboratory Assembly. Each malfunction for an individual component, unit, or

system is followed by a list of tests or inspections which will help you to determine probable causes and corrective

actions to take. Perform the tests/inspections and corrective actions in the order listed.

b. This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective actions. If you

experience a malfunction which is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.

WARNING

Before proceeding, always keep in mind the WARNINGS listed in the front of this manual.

3-4. OPERATOR/CREW MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOOTING CHART.

Refer to table 3-2 for troubleshooting which is allocated to operator/crew maintenance levels.
