a. 100-, 250-, and 500-Barrel Capacity Tanks. The
100 and 250-barrel tanks (fig. 1-1) and the 500 barrel
tank (fig.
1-2) are constructed of preformed and
punched metal sections bolted together with 1/2 inch
diameter bolts. They consist of assembled bottoms, one
ring of assembled side staves, an assembled center
support ladder aligned with a manhole, an assembled
deck or roof, and an assembled access ladder.
